Northeastern University’s Civil and Environmental Engineering Innovation Studio is the culmination of years of strategy, planning, and collaboration among the various engineering disciplines at NU. Dyer Brown was chosen to design the final phase of the project, fostering and maintaining consensus among a diverse group of faculty and staff while keeping a close watch on the developing donor budget and a condensed schedule.
The lab is anchored by the CEE Build space: an open studio geared for building innovative devices, materials, components, and systems for civil and environmental engineering applications. The studio also features a state-of-the-art experiential learning laboratory, two new Infrastructure engineering research laboratories, and a new fabrication facility.
This Build space establishes a premier incubator for faculty and student interdisciplinary research and education while showcasing the innovative work produced within the engineering department at Northeastern.
