Project Overview:
The first occupancy in the adaptive reuse of the original wharf buildings on this site, this building, surrounded on three sides by water, housed the "back office operations" of Fidelity, totaling 300,000 SF. The lower floor was one of the largest offices on a single level in New England at the time. Waterfront views were maintained by limiting obstructions of the exterior windows. Original clerestory windows were restored, and 25 foot ceilings emphasized the steel truss roof structure.
