The ideal candidate has experience in the planning and design of interior environments for medium and large scale commercial projects. Candidates must have a strong design portfolio and a minimum of 5 years experience. A solid understanding of interior construction and finishes is required. Successful candidates will present a record of outstanding design, technical, and project management skills. In addition to strong workplace design experience, varied project exposure including restoration, retail, hospitality, and residential is preferred.
The responsibilities: Strengthen client relationships, manage ongoing client accounts, oversee project consultants, generate conceptual/schematic designs, guide project development, oversee the selection of finishes, lead the specification of furniture systems, coordinate construction document production, and manage project budgets and schedules.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/ ADT, and Microsoft Office is required, and favorable consideration will be given to candidates with a background in Adobe InDesign or Photoshop, and 3D modeling.
